The entire ‘Khan-daan’ turns up to cheer for Seema Khan’s debut at LFWIt was a saas-bahu saga with a difference. Two mothers-in-law watched one bahu walk down the ramp in another bahu’s trendy creations. And giving them support were jeth-ji, nanad-ji, devar-ji and all the bachcha log.
As designer Seema Khan’s sister-in-law Malaika Arora Khan walked the final round, looking like a goddess in a white ensemble with ribbon detailing, Salman, Sohail and Arbaaz seemed to be having the time of their life.
“It’s the look for a bold woman,” said Seema after the show. And in typical style, her ‘bold’ sister-in-law Malaika said, “Why look outside, when I have talent at home?”
Malaika’s close friend Gauri Khan also made an appearance for the show and was seen chatting up Rhea Pillai.
Salman Khan looked a bit distracted while brother Arbaaz gave company to his son and nephew. When the show ended, the Khan brothers made a discreet exit.
Though Salman did murmur something about Seema’s clothes, it was Helen who stopped for a minute and sweetly said, “The clothes were very feminine and wearable. And my darling Malaika looked yummy.” So, you see, family does come first!
