Director Nikhil Advani's concerned about his forthcoming project ‘Salaam-E-Ishq', which is scheduled to release on January 25, 2007 , but has not been finished yet as one of the film's principal actors, Karan Johar, has still not given his dates. Karan Johar is to play himself in the film and Priyanka Chopra, who plays a leading lady in the film, is a huge Karan Johar fan. Nikhil said, “Karan is required in three telephonic conversation scenes with Priyanka. It's a small but important appearance.”
As per source, the shooting is almost complete except Karan Johar's part. Now Nikhil Advani is eagerly waiting for Karan, who's currently in New York , to finish the shoot. To be remembered here, Nikhil Advani's first directorial venture, ‘Kal Ho Na Ho' was a Karan Johar production.
