The opening act, for one, is going to be done by Urmila Matondkar. It will be a tribute to all Hindi film heroines, over the years. Tentatively, the songs chosen are Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya from Mughal-E-Azam along with some numbers from Pakeezah and Umrao Jaan. She most definitely wants to dance to some popular Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit numbers, as well. I remember, when I had paid a similar tribute to Marathi cinema at the prestigious Ganesha Film Festival in Pune, the response was astounding. I hope my opening act at the film festival will be equally appreciated, says Urmila. " She has already started rehearsing for this performance, which will eventuate on November 24th.
