The promotions of the much awaited film of the year Sarkar Raj have been advanced and will now start from 4th May. They were scheduled to start on 11th May. With Tashan crashing at the box office and multiplexes not screening the film, Z Picture Company, who own the marketing and distribution rights of Sarkar Raj are pushing it to fill the yawning gap.Varma says that Sarkar Raj is a bigger film than its prequel because it doesn’t carry the old story forward, but takes a look at another episode in the Nagare family’s life. Abhishek Bachchan who is currently in Miami for the shooting of Dostana will be returning on 23rd May for the film’s promotional activities.
Sarkar Raj will be premiered at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) to be held in Bangkok. The director of the film Ram Gopal Verma and Amitabh Bachchaan are already in Bangkok for the press conference that will be held on 30th April. Ram Gopal Verma had unveiled the first look of Sarkar Raj on 20th April which was the first wedding anniversary of the lead pair, Abhishek and Aishwarya.
The film is set to hit the big screens on 6th June.
