Instead what Celina says is, “I hope I have not offended anyone.”

Celina Jaitly’s brother Vikrant met with a freak accident last week. Vikrant, who is in the army, was posted in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. He was returning home from work when a speeding vehicle hit him from behind.
Govinda seems to be followed by trouble wherever he goes. And when you have Celina Jaitley who's lately been having her own share of run-ins with celebrity-harassment then you're in for trouble. On Friday while shooting at the City Mall in Oshiwara for Aditya Dutta's romantic musical, Garam Chai Govinda's bodyguards allegedly got into a scuffle with a shopkeeper.
Speaking on the incident for the first time Govinda said, "I didn't know Garam Chai would turn out so garam. It seems I am not fated to have any peace. We had got the required permission to shoot. But it seems the mall's builder and some shop owners had a long-standing dispute. Of course, we had the relevant permission. Without it, I don't shoot at public places. Our arrangement was with the builder. So while we were shooting one of the shop-owners came and stood in front of camera." The situation got uglier. "He started to abuse the entire film industry using the choicest maa-bahen expletives. I tried to reason with him. But no one could talk to him. But the man seemed fearless. He was scared neither of the law nor of anything else. He had a few of his colleagues with him. And they all seemed to pride themselves for not being scared of anyone. He even raised his hand on a cop, armed with a machine-gun, mind you. I found the whole situation very weird. But I'm only the actor in the unit. I was told to stay aloof."
Govinda is all praise for his co-star Celina. "She behaved very graciously. We're doing a lovely film together. I hadn't done a romantic film for ages. And the songs were lovely. Chai Garam has very sensuous, very Bengali feel to it." After a pause Govinda says, "It's not easy to remain quiet and famous in this city. They keep talking about my late coming. But no one speaks about how I've completed Money Hai To Honey in three months flat. Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai is also complete. I'll have four releases this year. I'm just happy I'm able to do my work. And if being a busy actor means you get the wrong kind of notice then I'll just take it in my stride."
In Ravi Chopra'a film, Govinda plays a lawyer again after Kyunki Main Jhooth Nahin Bolta. "In the earlier film I felt we went wrong because what I was fighting for wasn't highlighted in the plot. In Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai I fight for a very topical cause. A group of youngsters in Mumbai, get into trouble for no fault of theirs. Nowadays we always hear of youngsters getting into trouble, so much so that they're afraid to step out of their homes to have fun. Why only youngsters? Even we of an older generation aren't spared."
Adds Celina Jaitly, "Quite a beginning for Chai Garam it was Me and Chi Chi (Govinda). We were giving a shot when right in the middle of it this guy came in abusing and shouting. We were shocked speechless. Chi Chi and I just kept staring at him. Somewhere a scuffle started."

After Money Hai To Honey Hai, Govinda will once again do a film with his BFF of late, Celina Jaitly. The dosti between the two blossomed on the sets of MHTHH and with Chai Garam, their second flick together, the friendship is only bound to get stronger.

Why should she decide my behaviour? Is she a qualified psychologist? I understand what it is to live in a democratic country. It doesn’t mean you call someone mentally ill or delusional without proof. Yes, things have happened to me over the last four years. All kinds of calamities can strike an individual. Some people are more prone to crises than others. I happen to be one of those unfortunate people with whom untoward incidents have taken place. That doesn’t mean I’m delusional. Would Pooja like me to prove that those things have really happened to me or not? Cops caught that German guy who misbehaved with me at a hotel in Mumbai. His visa was cancelled. Did I imagine all that?
You’ve now a sent a legal notice to Pooja?
Yes, I thought of letting it go but my lawyers advised me to send her the notice. Once she called me delusional, everyone in the media started picking on that. Believe me, I have nothing against Pooja personally. I’m shocked why she should make defamatory statements about me when she doesn’t know the background to the whole thing.
Would you be willing to compromise with Pooja?
If she apologises to me in all the newspapers, I won’t take this further. Calling someone delusional is not a small matter.
Maybe Pooja feels you over-reacted?
Does she know I have messages and recorded conversations of the man from Endemol? Believe me I’ve worked hard for whatever little I am today. Nobody has ever promoted me. I can’t allow my name to be sullied. Jealous actresses are doing their best to malign me. When I bought a house on prime property in Mumbai they bitched about whom I slept with to afford my house. People who come up the hard way, know the value of their reputation. I’ve kept quiet. But now, when someone slanders me by calling me mentally ill, I have to get up and assert myself. It isn’t as if I’ve gone on a suing spree. I don’t want Pooja’s money. But a printed apology is a must.
POOJA BEDI REACTS: I don’t owe her an apology. In fact, she should be the one apologising to me for thinking of such a cheap way to earn Rs 5 crore! I have never called her delusional, it was a mere question that I had stated. If she chooses to associate that word with herself then it’s her prerogative.
Also I merely reacted to her statements where she found Anand Chavan from Endemol sending her a champagne bottle as a creepy gesture leading to stalking. Let me reiterate, that apart from me, many other celebrities too were sent those bottles. I don’t wish to drag this matter further, but it’s Celina who seems to want more attention here. In fact she should change her name from Celina to Sillyna!

It’s bombshell Celina Jaitley’s birthday today. As per reports in a tabloid, she flew to Goa with her parents last week. Even her cousins from America will accompany her. Only her brother Captain Vikrant, who is posted in Jammu & Kashmir won’t be a part of the revelry since he couldn’t get a leave.
